At the beginning of the 20th century, Taoist Ren Liang 'an and others came to Hong Kong from the ancestral altar of Puqing in Xiqiao Mountain, Guangdong Province, to collect the precious statue of red pine. The architecture of Wong Tai Sin Temple is resplendent and magnificent, which gives full play to the characteristics of classical temples in China. The temple covers an area of 18000 square meters. In addition to the main hall, there are three shrines and Congxin Garden. Among them, the archway architecture is the most distinctive, which fully demonstrates the traditional culture of China.

A large archway outside the temple is engraved with the words "Red Pine Wong Tai Sin Temple". The Nine Dragons Wall of Wong Tai Sin Temple is modeled after the Nine Dragons Wall in Beijing, which is engraved with the poems of the Chairman of the Chinese Buddhist Association, adding the traditional China characteristics of Huang Da Temple.

Wong Tai Sin Temple gives medicine and participates in many social activities. In recent years, it has been approved to hold weddings in temples and register new people.
