Where is Langya Mountain?

Langya Mountain is in the southwest suburb of Nanqiao District, Chuzhou City.

Langya Mountain is located in the western suburb of Chuzhou City, Anhui Province, about 5 kilometers southwest of Langya Mountain area. Xiaofeng Mountain, the main peak, is 3 17 meters above sea level, with a total area of 240 square kilometers. Langya Mountain enjoys the reputation that there are no other mountains and no pearls in eastern Anhui after Penglai. Because it is rich in a variety of Chinese herbal medicines, it is known as the "natural medicine garden". There are tourist attractions such as Zuiweng Pavilion, Langya Pavilion, Chengxi Lake, Gushan Lake and Hugu Valley.

Geographical environment of Langya Mountain

Langya Mountain is located about 5 kilometers southwest of Chuzhou City, Anhui Province, now in the southwest suburb of Chuzhou City. It is close to Chuzhou City, 50 kilometers away from Hefei/KLOC-0 and 59 kilometers away from Nanjing. Langya Mountain is a hilly area between the Yangtze River and Huaihe River, with high terrain in the southwest and low terrain in the northeast. The highest peak is Xiaofeng Mountain, with an altitude of 32 1 meter. The heights of other peaks are between 200 and 300 meters above sea level.

Gullies are developed in Langya Mountain area, and the maximum cutting depth is about 100 meters. In the long geological history, cliff gullies, stone buds and karst depressions with different degrees and different forms of exposure have gradually formed, as well as hidden caves, karst funnels, cracks and dissolved holes, such as Hongxue Cave behind Langya Temple and Chongxi Cave in Zhao Ji.
