How to get started with Taoism?

Did the landlord say Taoism or Taoism? If it is Taoism, please refer to two forms of joining Taoism: one is to become an official Taoist priest, and the other is to become a Taoist layman. There are two ways to become a formal Taoist, one is to become a full-fledged Taoist, and the other is to become an orthodox Taoist. Both of them have to go through the formalities of learning from the teacher, but the former must go to the Taoist temple and become a monk, while the latter does not need to become a monk. To become a Taoist layman, you only need to apply for a conversion certificate at the Taoist temple. To become a Taoist, you only need to perform the following procedures:

(1): voluntary becoming a monk means that I am willing to become a monk unless forced by others or external forces;

(2): the consent of a family member, that is, the main family member has no objection;

(3): No criminal record or other serious criminal record certificate (if it is a local monk, the local neighborhood Committee, street and village organizations can prove it; If you are a monk in a different place, you need a certificate from the local police station or the public security department. )

Other matters are decided by your specific palace view of becoming a monk.

With the above three certificates, the second is to see if you can adapt to Taoist life, that is, probation period and observation period. General 1-2 years. If you can stand the test, you also think you can adapt to Taoist life. After the probation period, you can become a monk, keep your hair, wear a headscarf and learn Taoist etiquette and culture.
