Baguamiao Village belongs to Houzhai Township, Erqi District. The village is adjacent to Laozhengmi Road in the east and Jia in the west.

Liuhe County is connected to Jiangang Village in the south and Guo Chang Village in the Central Plains in the north. Because there is a rumor in the east of the village.

Temple, so the village is called Baguamiao Village, and the village is named after the temple, but the legend is different.

According to the records of Houzhai Township in Erqi District: Legend

2000 years ago, a fortune teller came to the north bank of the Yellow River. Because of his accurate calculation, people commonly call him Mr. Gossip. At the age of 95, one day he died suddenly with a smile, and people buried him with dirt on the spot. Year after year, the mud on his body fell off and there was another layer of mud. In order to protect from the sun and rain, people built a temple out of wood, and people kept coming here to pray for peace, calling it the Eight Diagrams Temple. Of course, the mud body of Mr. Bagua Zhang in the temple is also called "Bagua God". During the reign of Wude in Tang Dynasty (6 18-626), people donated money and materials for a long time to commemorate the Eight Diagrams God, and built the temple into a brick wooden pavilion, which was called the Eight Diagrams Pavilion. The pavilion is eight feet high and nine feet wide, with blue tiles at the top, eight octagonal columns and a bronze bell hanging at each corner, which flutters in the wind and jingles. It sounds beautiful!

During the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty (627-649), when Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong, visited Henan, the imperial court built a palace around the Bagua Temple, facing south, including the main hall, the East Hall, the West Hall, the West Hall and the Back Hall, and the original Bagua Pavilion was surrounded. Li Shimin only stayed here for one night and left the next day. Before leaving, he stood at the main entrance of the palace and said with a smile, "The palace and pavilion are in one, which is wonderful." I wrote the three characters "Bagua Temple" with a pen. After returning to Beijing, he allocated funds to plant more than 300 pines and cypresses in the temple, and carved statues of four heavenly kings, grandmothers and bodhisattvas for the people to burn incense and pray for the gods to bless peace. There is a cast iron clock in the courtyard, which is more than one person's height and the diameter of the bell mouth is more than one meter. The sound of collision can be heard in Fiona Fang, and the two iron bells in the yard resonate from time to time, which is very nice. After dynasties, wars and smoke, sun and wind, disrepair, beyond recognition, but pines and cypresses still exist.

In July of the 12th year of Qing Qianlong (1746), the society donated money to rebuild the Bagua Temple. The temple looks the same as before. It is famous for its pavilions and ingenious groups. In the 13th year of Qing Qianlong, Zhengzhou Chronicle praised it as one of the "Eight Scenes of Zhengzhou". At that time, Xiaozhangzhuang, Xiaozhuzhuang, Yanjiamen, Liujiamen, Chenjia and Song Jialing, which lived around Bagua Temple as the axis, gradually developed into an organic whole, collectively known as Bagua Temple Village (as evidenced by rebuilding the stone tablet of Bagua Temple in July of the 12th year of Qianlong). In the early years of the Republic of China, when Feng Yuxiang was in charge of Henan, he demolished the sacred fetus in the temple and turned it into a primary school. Temple halls and stone tablets were severely damaged during the Cultural Revolution. The Bagua Temple, which was rebuilt in the early years of the Republic of China, has always been the school building of rural primary schools. During the Cultural Revolution, the Great Hall and many stone tablets were severely damaged.
