Chapter 17: Banquet at Thornfield House

Mr rochester has been missing for a week, but the housekeeper is not surprised at all. Jane Eyre was disappointed. Although she continues to work, she has the idea of leaving Thornfield House. Another week later, Rochester sent a letter saying that he would bring some guests back in three days, so Thornfield House became busy and Adele was ecstatic.
