Where is Mount Li?

Lishan, a section of Zhongtiao Mountain Range, is located at the junction of Yicheng, Yuanqu, Yangcheng and Qinshui counties in the south of Shanxi Province, and has been listed as a provincial nature reserve in Shanxi Province.

Mount Lishan is 232 1 m above sea level, which is the highest peak in the south of Shanxi Province. Lishan Nature Reserve, with a total area of 359,200 mu. Natural vegetation is dominated by deciduous trees, broad leaves, coniferous forests and deciduous shrubs in temperate and warm temperate zones. Lishan Mountain is not only a nature reserve, but also a virgin forest scenic spot, and is known as a "natural park". Here, the grotesque grottoes and the Qingshan stream complement each other, forming the beautiful scenery of "beautiful mountains, beautiful waters and grotesque caves and beautiful stones". The grotesque peaks, grotesque rocks, clear streams, caves and ice curtains are also called "five wonders", while Lin Tao, mountain wind, snow, fog and rain, light and shadow, historical sites, plants, animals, medicinal materials and villages are also called "ten wins". The "unique" landscape dominated by natural scenery constitutes 7 scenic spots in the tourist area, with more than 100 scenic spots.

On Mount Li, the famous Shunwangping is the crown of all scenic spots. Shun Wang Ping, located at the junction of Xia Chuan Township, Yuanqu, Yangcheng and Yicheng in the southwest of Qinshui County, is the main peak of Lishan. According to legend, Shun once worked here, and later people called him Shun. Shunwangping, a naturally formed "forty-mile horse racing ping", is covered with green grass.

In Lishan, there are "Welcome Pine" and "Shisongjing" where pine trees stand upright. There is no soil all the way, but there are pine trees on the ground. They break through the stones with tenacious vitality and sprout and take root in the soil, which is amazing.

On Mount Li, there are two grand canyons, namely Dongxia and Xixia. The bottom of the valley is more than 5 kilometers long, and a clear spring passes through it. In the canyon, stones are piled up in Shi Lei, and water flows inward around the stones. The landscape of "ice curtain hanging upside down" and "a glimpse of the sky" is very attractive.

There are many natural caves in Lishan, and Baiyun Cave has been developed for tourists to enjoy. Baiyun Cave is1500m deep, 20m high and 30m wide. There are natural stone pillars, stone birds, stone beasts, stone beds, stone books, stone lanterns and stone lotus flowers in the cave. , very ornamental value.

Xia Chuan Village, the center of the tourist area, is1575m above sea level, with a mild climate and pleasant coolness. In addition to the two tourist highways, there are also forest roads and country roads that can directly reach 20 scenic spots, making it an ideal tourist summer resort.
