Tongfengyu Town, at the southwest exit of Eryuan County, is known as the Peach Blossom Garden. In the early days, it was a place where Wu Luo people lived. It was rich in golden yellow Yufeng rapeseed oil, and almost all parts of Yunnan had oil extraction points for Yufeng rapeseed oil. The scenery was recorded by Xu Xiake. Fengxiang Village on Yufeng Street has Town Locust Pagoda and Dingfeng Pagoda. The temples are well-preserved, and there are many temples, next to which are the cremation tombs of the Yuan Dynasty and the Jiang Baishi Waterfall falling from the sky. The most magical temple is Helin Temple, which was named "Eye of Helin Lake" by Xu Xiake, and is surrounded by camellias everywhere. Judging from the inscriptions on the mountain gate of the temple, the reputation of Helin Temple in ancient times is far-reaching. There are underground springs in the temple and cranes inhabit here. Legend has it that you can see your predecessor here; However, the temple was destroyed by the ruins of the Cultural Revolution. The carved beams and painted buildings of the temple were destroyed or sold, and now only ruins are left. Further south, we reach Qingyuan Cave, the source of the whole Erhai Lake. It is described in detail in Xu Xiake's Travels. Qingyuan Cave has a maze, a bat palace, heaven and hell, and the innermost place is the outlet of Qingyuan Cave. Yufeng snacks include: small sugar made from millet, bean flour and stewed plums.
