The main stream flows westward through Qianshan, Yiyang and Guixi, turns northwest in Yingtan City, and is divided into east and west tributaries after passing Jingjiang Town to yugan county Xindu Wanjia. The west branch is the mainstream, called Xihe River. It flows westward into Jinlong and is divided into three parts. A northbound stream flows into Poyang Lake through Tangsan, Bushi and Ruihong towns. Second, it flows to Fenggang in the southwest, always flows to Ruihong Town in the northwest via muxi Bay, and the other flows to Ruihong Town in the west via Ai Jia and Chapanzhou. The east branch is called Dongdahe, which is a passage into Poyang Lake. It flows northeast to Zhou Jia, the well head, and is divided into two parts: the left part is called Hu Huihe, and the north part flows into Poyang Lake through Shikou; You Gu goes to Le 'an Village via Machakou, flows into Le 'an River, and enters Poyang Lake via poyang town and Longkou.
