Langxi City Wall in Ming Dynasty was a cultural relic protection unit in Anhui Province.

As early as before the establishment of the Ming Dynasty, when Zhu Yuanzhang conquered Huizhou, a hermit named Zhu Sheng told him to "build a high wall, accumulate more grain, and gradually become king". Zhu Yuanzhang adopted these suggestions. After the national reunification, he ordered all counties to build cities generally. Ming City Wall is located in Jianping Town, Langxi County. It was built in the 45th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1566). The circumference of the original city is 780 feet (nearly 6 miles), the base of the city is 2 feet wide, and the upper part is 1 foot. It has four doors and towers in the east, west, south and north. After years of vicissitudes, the ancient city walls have been damaged to varying degrees. Although there were repairs in the Ming Dynasty, there are many details in history.

In the Qing Dynasty, several large-scale renovations were carried out in the 4th year of Kangxi (1665), 12th year of Kangxi (1673), 30th year of Kangxi (1689) and 6th year of Yongzheng (1728).
