Memory-Changsha Ancient Street

When I was studying in Changsha, one of my favorite things was to go to different Gu Xiang Streets to eat, drink and have fun. Among them, the old streets I have been to are Taiping Old Street, Hualong Pool and Baiguoyuan.

Taiping Old Street is my favorite old street. It is located in the city center, with convenient transportation, and it is also the most popular among all the old streets. The fishbone block is 375 meters long and only 7 meters wide. If traced back, it has been the core area of the ancient city since the Warring States period, and it has experienced more than 2,000 spring and autumn periods.

In the neighborhood, small blue tiles, sloping roofs, white tile ridges, stacked walls and wooden doors and windows are the same features of houses and shops in this area; Old-fashioned luxury houses retain the primitive traditional patterns such as Shikumen, blue brick walls, quadrangles and guardrails. Walking all the way outside the ancient street, you can see the classical visual impact brought by the iconic ancient architectural symbols, such as stone archway, Mashi Road, embankment wall and ancient stage. At the same time, you can also appreciate the literary spirit and charm of a historical accumulation, which carries and exudes the unique charm of Huxiang culture. The old street retains historical sites such as Jia Yi's former residence and the former site of the Ming Dynasty Fan Wang Mi West archway. You can also see the historical relics of the modern revolution. Changsha has experienced a long history and revolutionary blood. Wang Yuewen, chairman of Hunan Writers Association, said: "Because of Jia Yi and Du Fu, the length of Taiping Street is no longer more than 300 meters, but 2,000 years. A line of context appeared, heavy and heavy, as clear as a street stone washed by rain. No matter how many streets there are in Taiping Street, there is a gloomy atmosphere in the bones. " Today, the old street is full of historical and literary flavor, and the block is full of famous old brands, calligraphy and painting, teahouses, art studios, theme museums and so on. On the basis of preserving the cultural context, this old street continues to sprout and grow into many gourmet shops, such as Modern China Tea Shop, Wenheyou, Black Classic and other new branches. Taiping Old Street is always very lively and bustling. The collision between the old and the new continues the history and exudes vigorous vitality.

This street is congenial to my literary taste and has no resistance to me. Weekends will pass when you are free, and sometimes you will get together with friends in romantic and retro pubs and spend an evening there; Sometimes I go to see folk singers and immerse myself in live concerts; Sometimes find a tea meditation space in antique alleys for cultural and creative exchanges; Sometimes I go to the petty bourgeoisie cafe to participate in the activities of douban in the same city or go to the jazz bar to participate in the English corner with foreigners. Such a day is real, dull and full of fun. Time is like silk around my neck, so light and soft that I can't feel its existence. No anxiety, no running fast, you can spend your leisure time here beautifully. Taiping Street and Changsha City have different rhythms. It is slow, leisurely, classical and full of energy. Busy white-collar workers in office buildings and entrepreneurs in a hurry like to find time to get some air in this street. They can order a latte in Gu Lou Cafe, eat Li Ai's stinky tofu, watch tarot cards in Crystal Square, listen to a raiders of Block C, take some time out to stroll slowly and do some useless things, so that people can fly for a while and get out of the complicated world immediately.

The old alley is full of emotional appeal of life, and every time I go, I feel my eyes shine. Once I celebrated my 2 1 birthday with a group of friends in this street, and the image of laughter and laughter is still vivid in my mind. A friend came to see me from Dalian, and I took her to this street. We drink coffee, listen to music and go clubbing. We walk hand in hand on the smooth and shiny gravel road. Unconsciously, the silver moonlight poured on our cheeks and said goodbye in front of the archway. On one date, we agreed to meet at Taiping Old Street. We walked from Taiping Old Street to Xiangjiang River. I still remember the color of his jacket.

There is a Gu Xiang hidden in the middle of the central square of the noisy Huangxing South Road Pedestrian Street, which is another famous historical street in Changsha-Baiguoyuan Lane. When you walk into the garden, you will feel quiet and quaint. White orchard is not a real garden. The total length of Baiguoyuan is only 100 meter, and the lane width is only about 4 meters. However, the ancient Mashi Road, fair-faced brick walls and several famous houses in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China added ancient fragrance to it. During the Republic of China, it was a gathering place for dignitaries, private houses, theaters and gardens. Some scholars are talking and laughing, but there is no Ding Bai. Now, Baiguoyuan Lane has faded away from the hustle and bustle, emitting a restrained and elegant taste, just like a lady in the Republic of China. No.21and No.23 in Baiguoyuan Lane are the houses where Cheng Qian lived when he was the director of Changsha appeasement office and the chairman of Hunan provincial government. Entering the courtyard, you can see an antique garden, antique rockery, antique leisure pavilion, and several tall and straight ginkgo trees hiding behind the pavilion shyly. Ginkgo tree is actually a well-known ginkgo tree.

I know this Gu Xiang because of Sister Sally. One year when I returned to China, she invited me to eat in one of the private restaurants. Entering Baiguoyuan Lane is very similar to the architectural style of Taiping Ancient Street. The wall is blue brick and white ash, the tile is glazed tile and green brick, and the gate is antique Shikumen. There are few aborigines, most of whom are tenants. There are also some shops along the street, mostly private kitchens. These storefronts keep their original structure as much as possible, and the decoration is mainly in simple Chinese style. Sister Sally carefully selected this private restaurant and said it was a welcome to me. I haven't seen her for two years, and she is still full of energy, smiling often. Although Sister Sally is older than me, we have many topics to talk about, and there is no sense of generation gap. Maybe it's because she is light-hearted and energetic, always in high spirits, dressed in fashion and foreign style, and gentle and delicate with others. She treats me like a sister, and she always thinks of me when she has something delicious and fun. Once handed me a Swarovski crystal necklace and said, "You will be my sister in the future." . In the busy Changsha, I ate quietly for the first time. This private house retains the previous architectural style and features, which is in harmony with the street outside. The decoration in the private restaurant is exquisite, mostly antique porcelain, sculpture and painting, revealing the owner's elegant taste. There's no one inside. Sister Sally booked a big box, and she cooked several specialty dishes and local dishes of old Changsha. I am very excited to meet again in such an elegant old street. In a busy city, we need a quiet environment for sisters to open their hearts, talk to each other and update their recent situation. Sister Sally's career is going well now, and she has opened a coffee shop called "Shallow Seal". Located in a residential area in Kaifu District, three walls are covered with ivy, and the garden is full of beautiful flowers and potted plants. The sun can spread all over the yard. There is an old iron gate at the door, and the stone path leads to the shop, which gives people a fresh and comfortable feeling as soon as they enter the door. I heard that business is good and I have accumulated a lot of regular customers. Look at her smiling face, she is carefully managing this small shop as her pride. I saw you in a hurry, so I said goodbye. It's been five years since we got together, and the taste of the food has long since vanished, but I still remember meeting at that time.

Memories and thoughts of Changsha are magnified in the old streets. Once opened, it is full of youthful and happy memories. Alleys, gravel roads and air have given me aura, and I have entrusted my youth to them. It's been seven years since I left Changsha, and time flies. The place that bears my youth has evolved into a monument engraved in my heart. Now, in my thirties, I am rooted, sprouted and blossomed in the soil on the other side of the Pacific Ocean.
