How reliable is Zhouyi divination?

Today, the biggest industry among the Four Books and Five Classics, I think, should belong to Zhouyi. Casually visiting temples, temples and even scenic spots slightly related to historical sites, you can see old people with white hair and beard, or sitting indifferently or attracting enthusiasm, but the signs are "relaxed" and say that they don't charge money.

What kind of wonderful book is Zhouyi, which can go through thousands of years and still has infinite charm and magic? After reading Xiong Yi's interpretation, I was enlightened and lost.

Let's take a look at the authentic divination method of Zhouyi. Generally speaking, think about what to predict first, and then use 50 yarrow to do the calculation. If you can't find it, you might as well take 50 weiqi or something. After 18 rounds of calculation (this is the source of the eighteen changes in women's universities), a divination can be worked out. After calculating a hexagram, we can calculate the change of mind from this hexagram (that is, the change of mind comes from it), and predict good or bad luck by comparing the hexagrams in Zhouyi.

There are two conditions to ensure the correct result. First, what is predicted cannot be quantified, but must be qualitative and very rough; Second, the prediction results are vague, the hexagrams are incomprehensible, and there is no clear temporal and spatial scope. To put it bluntly, it is impossible to falsify.

In addition, this algorithm has undergone many changes and has been passed down to this day through deception, such as the restoration method of ancient Zhu and the method of Najia. In fact, the original Book of Changes is only an indicator of divination, which has no maneuverability and connotation. Later, Confucian intellectuals gave philosophical play to its contents, such as going round and round, quantitative change causing qualitative change and so on.

Tracing back to the source, I found that Zhouyi's calculation was so unreliable. Why can it continue to flourish? The reason is that there is demand and there is supply, which meets people's predicted demand. In fact, every place and every civilization has its own divination method. Without Zhouyi, there is nothing else.

The possible meaning of "those who are good and easy don't predict" in Yi-ology is that they have seen through its essence and evolution, so forget it, because they no longer rely on the prediction it provides.
