How to join Taoism?

Now Taoism is mostly commercialized. If you want to practice, you'd better go to Wudang Mountain in Hubei. If you want to spread Taoist culture, you can go to Baiyun Temple in Beijing.

To become a Taoist, you only need to perform the following procedures:

(1): voluntary becoming a monk means that I am willing to become a monk unless forced by others or external forces;

(2): the consent of a family member, that is, the main family member has no objection;

(3): No criminal record or other serious criminal record certificate (if it is a local monk, the local neighborhood Committee, street and village organizations can prove it; If you are a monk in a different place, you need a certificate from the local police station or the public security department. )

Other matters are decided by your specific palace view of becoming a monk.

With the above three certificates, the second is to see if you can adapt to Taoist life, that is, probation period and observation period. General 1-2 years. If you can stand the test, you also think you can adapt to Taoist life. After the probation period, you can become a monk, keep your hair, wear a headscarf and learn Taoist etiquette and culture.

Then, we can carry forward Taoist culture and tradition.
