Where is Xue Jiawan?

Xue Jiawan is located in the east of Zhungeer Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Xuejiawan Town was founded in August 1990. It is one of the three central towns in Zhungeer Banner, Ordos City, where the people's government is resident and Zhungeer Banner is located. Since the city was founded, Xue Jiawan has been named as Xiaokang Town in Zhungeer Banner, Top Ten Town in Ordos City, Science and Technology Demonstration Town, Inner Mongolia Cultural Demonstration Town, Sports Demonstration Town, Health Town, Top Ten Civilization Demonstration Town, Top Ten Civilization County Chengguan Town and Eight-star Civilization Town. , by the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and other six ministries and commissions identified as the national key town.

Xuejiawan Town has complex landform and simple geological structure, and the overall structure belongs to Ordos single wing syncline. On the basis of the pre-Sinian system, there are thick deposits from Sinian system to Quaternary system, and the stratigraphic deposits are relatively complete. Except for angular unconformity contact in some areas, strata in each era are generally continuous deposition or pseudo-conformity contact.

Xuejiawan town is characterized by sedimentary cycle and regional unconformity, and the strata in the territory can be basically divided into three structural layers: Indosinian, Yanshan and Himalayan. In the long geological age, after repeated ups and downs of the earth's crust, the sea water kept retreating, and under the influence of external forces such as weathering and erosion, the valleys in the Banner were well developed, forming uneven landforms, and the Mesozoic and previous paleostrata were exposed to the surface.

Xuejiawan Town belongs to a typical mid-temperate continental climate with abundant sunshine and four distinct seasons. Its climate is characterized by long and cold winters, short and hot summers, and drastic temperature changes in spring and autumn.
