Why do fortune tellers burp?

I will burp and fall asleep when I read Buddha or burn incense in the temple. What's going on here?

This is a sign of sleepiness. It doesn't matter. It will happen at first, but everyone's situation is different. I deleted the text for the landlord's reference.

12. Reading and listening to the scriptures will make you feel groggy, and you will feel groggy if you have enough sleep. How to treat it?

A: The Buddha said that to cure drowsiness, it is necessary to cultivate bright thinking. What does it mean to cultivate bright thinking? Every night when I want to sleep, I close my eyes and see a big sun. When I get used to it, my heart will be clearer and I won't be so dizzy. In addition to bright thinking, it can also cure sleepiness. When you really want to doze off, read Buddha aloud or get up and walk. You should use various methods to solve this problem. There is no other way. It is a habit for some people to doze off as soon as they get on the bus. So I don't sleep, no matter how tired I get on the bus. I can't drive, but others drive me. But I told myself that I wouldn't sleep as long as I got on the bus. This is my way to cure drowsiness, because I have to take the bus every day and watch others sleep every day. I just don't sleep. When I get used to it, I will have an advantage. I can stay up for three days and nights. This is from practice. There is no other way. As for the treatment of drowsiness, the Buddha said to the venerable Ana, because he dozed off while listening to the Buddhist scriptures, "You have to dive into the seabed for millions of years, and you will never hear Buddhism for thousands of years. So, you have to practice by yourself. When you are about to faint, in fact, practice is to be hard on yourself and ask yourself. If you have good knowledge, such as men shaking poor and women shaking cheap, and some people's feet will shake, you have to rely on the person next to you to take a whip and remind them at any time. Just like when you are in a daze, remind yourself how to treat yourself and punish yourself, and things will change slowly. Of course, there is still a kind of power to remember forever. The three treasures, namely Guanyin Bodhisattva, Earth Treasure Bodhisattva and the three saints of Bodhisattva, Amitabha, the twenty-five dharma protectors and the twenty-five great bodhisattvas, are always by your side. We can't help it ourselves, but the Buddha's nature, the power of bodhisattva and the blessing of the three treasures will always exist. For example, you are close to the feast of the old mage, and you are close to the nebula mage. They are all treasures of the monk. When your strength is not enough, you put your hands together and pay homage to Master Xingyun. Will the master's blessing come? Yes, the point is that you should have confidence in Sambo. With this blessing and your own efforts, you will succeed.

13. What should I do if I am sleepy after meditation and chanting?

A: Everyone dozes off, so if you are sleepy while meditating and chanting Buddha, get up and walk quickly, and then continue chanting Buddha when you are full of energy. I think it doesn't matter if I do my homework for a short time. For example, when I first became a monk, the old monk said to me, "Two hours of study in morning class is too long. Why don't we divide the two hours into six times, one for twenty minutes, and study separately, so that I can have morning and evening classes six times a day. So it's better to eat in small quantities. If you also doze off, stand up and get some fresh air. If you are energetic, continue to study hard. It's better to be short and powerful.

14. How to beat the sandman? Because you love sleeping?

Answer: You have to think about it. Suppose you can live to be 90 years old and sleep eight hours a day. You will sleep for a third of your life and for thirty years. If you get rid of childhood ignorance and old age ignorance, you won't have much time to really work hard, not to mention the impermanence of life. You don't know how long you will live. So how to subdue the sandman? Buddha taught us to think bright before going to bed, that is, to close our eyes before going to bed and see a bright sun shining all the time, which can reduce the time of sleeping and make us less fond of sleeping. Some people doze off as soon as they get on the bus. I don't like sleeping in the car. I practice until I can get off when I want to sleep. But the problem now is that I love reading so much that I can't bear to sleep at night, which is not good for my health, so my teacher and father both said to me, "Haitao! Go to bed early and get up early. " I said, "I'm sorry! I stay up late and get up late. It is not good to get up after class in the morning. I should adjust, but the adjustment will restore my normal life. I can't sleep at two o'clock in the evening and get up at four o'clock tomorrow morning. Some teachers and fathers go to bed at eight o'clock in the evening, and life is already very regular. For example, Elder Jueguang goes to bed at seven and gets up at half past one. Through calculation, he also slept well. The teacher's father said, "so I don't have to socialize at night." I get up at half past one, and no one makes a sound, so I can start studying hard. This method is also very clever, but of course the old monk can, and there is no way for the young mage to preach the Dharma to all beings at 7: 30 in the evening. However, it is also good to live a simple and regular life, so be alert to yourself, or stand up and walk to practice bright thinking, or worship Buddha hundreds of times, you can get rid of sleep.

15. If you are not careful, you will be distracted. What should I do?

A: There is no other way. Get your heart back when you read Amitabha, and then keep forming this habit, and slowly you will concentrate. This can be illustrated by a metaphor. For example, cows go to other people's rice fields to eat rice and corn, which damages other people's crops. If you tie cows to a tree with a rope, they won't damage other people's grain. The same is true when reading Buddha and Bible. Once you run away, you will get it back immediately. After a long time, you will gradually settle down.
