According to the Government (State-owned Enterprise) Investment Project Plan for Yuecheng District and Binhai New Area in 2023, which was released in April 2023, Zhongxing Road underpass tunnel, Daming Project in this area and Zhongxing Road high-quality pedestrian street project will be built. Using the vehicle underpass project of Zhongxing Road, the ground road of Zhongxing Road (Chang 'an overpass to Huancheng South Road) will be transformed into a national high-quality pedestrian street, and a comprehensive commercial district integrating culture, catering, entertainment and leisure will be built. It is planned to start construction in June 2024 and be completed in February 2025.
