Brief introduction of Nihe Town, Lujiang County, Anhui Province

Nihe Town, Lujiang County, Anhui Province was founded in Ming Dynasty with a long history. It is a commercial and trade center in southern Shandong, belonging to the sub-county organizational system. This year, through the reform of township institutions, the original Shaxi Township was merged. Today, Nihe Town borders Longqiao Town and Fanshan Town in the east, Leqiao Town in the west, Luohe Town in the south and Lucheng Town in the north. The whole town covers an area of 183.5 square kilometers, with 88,059 mu of cultivated land. It has jurisdiction over 36 villages, 2 communities and 783 villagers' groups with a population of 95,000, including 22,000 permanent residents in market towns.
