Administrative divisions of Chishui village

Chishui Village is located in the south of Liusha West Street, Puning City, Guangdong Province. Before the middle of Ming Dynasty, Wang, Xu, Lu, Zeng, Lan and Zhuo lived here. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, Chen, Huang, Zhu, Zou and Shen moved in one after another, and Wang, Xu, Lu and Zhuo moved in one after another, among which Lu moved to the neighboring village of Huashi. Because it is located at the northern foot of Nanshan, there are three ditches and four streams at the water interchange, and the mountain torrents are red, hence the name. Residential areas are distributed in blocks, and there are 9 natural villages. The area of the jurisdiction is about 2.6 square kilometers, with cultivated land 1987 mu, and the main crops are rice and sweet potatoes. At present, the population is more than 20,000, and 60% of the labor force is engaged in secondary and tertiary industries. Collective enterprises 1, individual enterprises 15. It is one of the key overseas Chinese areas in Puning, where expatriates live in Thailand and other countries and regions. This is an old revolutionary base area. Hudi Temple is a municipal environmental protection zone. South Ring Road and Puning Avenue run through the village in parallel, and Yuhua Road and Guangda East Road vertically connect the above two roads, with convenient transportation. Village roads are now all cemented, and irrigation and drainage ditches are hardened. A 6,000-square-meter central square was built, with a stage, a stadium and a small garden. There are some cultural facilities, such as a perfect activity center for the elderly. There is a well-equipped Chishui school, covering an area of 46 mu, with a building area of10.5 million square meters. A number of key projects such as Puning No.2 Middle School Experimental School, Yuedong Tobacco Logistics Center, Puning Commercial Street and Shangdi Central Garden High-end Residential Area have been invested and built here, which is one of Puning's new development areas.

Chishui Village in Puning (including 9 natural villages) has 29 corners, namely, lake bottom, ditch side, altar head, East Lake, kiln, body, Xishanpu, Zhangping New Village, Shijing New Village, downhill front, Zhongshan front, dingshanqian and Macuogou.
