When is the meeting in Xuzhou Taishan?

Xuzhou Taishan Festival is three days before and after April 15th of the lunar calendar every year. Xuzhou Taishan Fair, also known as "Xuzhou Taishan Temple Fair", is one of the forms of fair trade in China. According to textual research, the temple on Mount Tai was built in Jiaqing period of Ming Dynasty, then it was called "Ji Xian Temple" and was dedicated to Bi Xia Yuan Jun. In the forty-third year of Qing Qianlong, namely 1778, Xuzhou magistrate named it Bixia Palace, commonly known as "Grandma Temple". According to the common sense that there is a temple, it can be inferred that the formation of Taishan Temple Fair should be after the completion of Grandma Temple. Every year, pilgrims from all directions come to Taishan Temple to worship "Grandma Taishan" three days before and after the 15th day of the fourth lunar month, in order to have more children. During the meeting, pilgrims not only involved six counties (cities) and five districts, but also good men and women from southern Shandong, eastern Henan and northern Anhui came here to worship. This fully embodies the essence of Buddhist culture, that is, "all evil should be avoided, all good should be pursued, and all sentient beings should be merciful and compassionate", and also reflects the people's yearning for a safe and happy life. Taishan Temple Fair is very spectacular, involving mountains and hills, inside and outside the temple, a few kilometers in Fiona Fang. Different in content and form. Its main contents are burning incense and worshipping Buddha in the mountains, large-scale folk arts and crafts exhibitions, folk cultural performances and corporate merchants rushing to temple fairs. Due to the annual activities, various booths have formed a pattern. Taishan Temple Fair is no longer a purely religious activity, but a grand folk activity integrating business, tourism, faith, entertainment, folk culture and art, and has become one of the largest folk activities in Huaihai Economic Zone. As people's material and cultural living standards are increasingly enriched, their aesthetic needs are increasing, and the status of folk culture is declining, the scale of temple fairs is gradually shrinking and tends to be a tourism and shopping festival.
