What do the symbols on gossip stand for?
It is recorded in the Northern Song Dynasty's Taiping Yu Lan: "Fuxi sits in the square altar and listens to the eight winds, which is to draw eight diagrams." (Fuxi sits on the square altar and listens to the breath from eight directions, so he draws gossip. )
Eight diagrams are composed of "-"as yang and ""as yin: dry is heaven, Kun is earth, shock is thunder, sorrow is wind, ridge is water, root is mountain, separation is fire, and everything is like love. Eight diagrams are divided into eight directions, and Tai Chi pictures are in China.
According to Yi Zhuan, gossip mainly symbolizes eight natural phenomena, namely, heaven, earth, thunder, wind, water, fire, mountains and mountains, and the two hexagrams "Gan" and "Kun" occupy a particularly important position in gossip, which is the source of all phenomena in nature and human society. The origin and development of gossip
According to legend, innate gossip was created by Fuxi according to two astrolabe calendars, namely, The Book of Hutuluo, which was created by Sui people. It is located in Guadi Village, Hongdong, because this village is surrounded by mountains, and there are eight villages around it, all separated by eight miles, which looks like the bottom of a six-pointed star. Fuxi used divination in landscape painting, so he created gossip.
Bagua originated from China's ancient thoughts about the formation of the basic universe, the rotation relationship between the earth and the sun, and the combination of agricultural society and life philosophy. The original data source is the Book of Changes in the Western Zhou Dynasty, which contains 64 hexagrams, but no images.
Until the Song Dynasty, some scholars thought that the four images played eight diagrams (directions) and eighty-eight generated sixty-four hexagrams. This is Fuxi Bagua, also known as innate gossip.
Some scholars believe that gossip should come from Zhou Wenwang's theory of feeling Kun. He believes that the intersection of heaven and earth produces everything, and heaven is dry and earth is Kun. The other six hexagrams of gossip are their children: Zhen is the eldest male, Kan is the middle male, and Gen is the young male; Xun is the eldest daughter, staying as the middle girl and changing into a girl, which is the gossip for you, also called the gossip the day after tomorrow.
Since the Song Dynasty, the eight diagrams symbols usually appear together with the Taiji diagram, which represents the ultimate truth of China's traditional belief: "Tao". Outside, gossip still corresponds to the eight factions. On the gossip the day after tomorrow, it begins with northern divination: rest, birth, injury, supervision, scene, death, shock and opening.
