Since ancient times, there have been few emperors as talented as Li Shimin. Needless to say, there are two unborn Yi-ology masters: Li and Yuan Tiangang.

Li and Yuan Tiangang were mentioned together because of TuiBei. According to legend, when Li wrote a prophecy, he couldn't stop. Yuan Tiangang just saw it and gave Li a push in the back. Li stopped there, so the title became "Pushing Endorsement".

Li's father, Li Bo, was once a small official in the county government of Sui Dynasty. Frustrated by the officialdom, he abandoned his official position and followed the Tao, and wrote ten volumes of local chronicles and astronomical images. Li Zixiao is known as a "child prodigy". Under the influence of his father, he reads extensively, especially interested in astronomy, geography, Taoism and the study of Yin and Yang. Li, 17 years old, was recommended by his good friend Liu Wenjing and became a counselor to take part in the uprising against Sui and Xing Tang Dynasties.

Since then, Li has made great contributions to the establishment and construction of the Tang Dynasty. Based on nearly 40 years' observation and calculation, he wrote a new calendar in Tang Gaozong: Linde calendar.

After observing the state of trees being blown by the wind for a long time, he divided the wind into eight grades in his book Yi Si Zhan, and he was the first person in the world to classify the wind. Li died at the age of 69. After his death, Tang Gaozong was restored to his original post: Taishiling.

Yuan Tiangang was an astronomer, astrologer, forecaster, feng shui master, Taoist priest and fortune teller in the late Sui and early Tang Dynasties. According to legend, he knows how to learn from the wind, that is, according to the wind and direction, good or bad luck can be broken. He is also proficient in facial expressions, six rings and five elements.

He is the author of Six-person Class, Notes on Five Elements, Notes on Sansheng, TuiBei Map (written with Li He), Yuan Tiangang's Bones, etc. It is recorded in the history books that he once met many senior officials, and the newly born Wu Zetian lived the life of an emperor.

Judging from the general life of Li and Yuan Tiangang, Yuan Tiangang should be older than Li and earlier than Li Chengming. Their achievements and research fields are similar, but Li is higher than Yuan Tiangang in official position. But in terms of many deeds and stories handed down from generation to generation, Yuan Tiangang is even worse than Li.
