"Water Margin", also known as Loyalty Water Margin, was written by Shi Naian, a native of Xinghua, Jiangsu, in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. It is one of China's four classical novels. The book describes the story of 108 heroes headed by Song Jiang in Liangshan Uprising at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty. After gathering righteousness, they accepted the appeal and fought everywhere. The Water Margin, written by Shi Naian and edited by Luo Guanzhong, is also one of the most epic works in China literature. This is one of the earliest Zhang Hui novels written in vernacular Chinese in the history of China. There are many versions, which are widely circulated and widely known. Shi Naian (1296 ~ 137 1), formerly known as Yanduan, whose real name is Zhao Rui, Shonago An, and whose nickname is Naian. Writers in the late yuan dynasty and early Ming dynasty. Originally from Hailing County, Taizhou, he lived in Shijia Lane outside Nagato, Suzhou, and then moved to Baijuchang, Xinghua County (now Baiju Town, Dafeng City, Jiangsu Province). Smart and studious since childhood, he was admitted as a scholar in the first year of Yuanyanyou (13 14), promoted as a scholar in the first year of Taiding (1324) and admitted as a scholar in the second year (133 1). Among them, the well-known Romance of the Three Kingdoms (also known as Romance of the Three Kingdoms) is Luo Guanzhong's masterpiece, which has a far-reaching influence on later literary creation.
