Qingtuo Town is located in the southwest of the county seat. Mineral resources in Qingtuo town

The famous Xugong inkstone is a unique mineral resource in this town. It is produced in Xugongdian Village in the south of Qingtuo Town on the banks of Menghe River. Because of its delicate texture, oily ink color, fine pores on the side, artificial and natural interest, it is known as the treasure in the inkstone. Xu Gongshi was famous as early as the Tang and Song Dynasties. It is said that in the Tang Dynasty, Xu Hui went to Beijing to catch the exam, and when he passed by, he came across a beautiful stone, which was lovely in shape and size, and wanted to grind it into an inkstone.

In the Beijing exam, it happened that the weather was cold and the ink was frozen, which affected the candidates. Only Xu Hui, who is as beautiful as a flower and fluent in writing, was admitted to the Jinshi in one fell swoop, and the official has always been a history of the Ministry of Rites. After retirement, he returned to his old place and settled here. His name is Xu Gong, so the village name was changed to Xu Gong Hall, and the inkstone was named Xu Gong Shi.
