After staying in the same place for nearly a year, I once again photographed the wonders of Buddha's light in Huidong, Liangshan. How is the Buddha's Light formed?

According to Buddhist scriptures, Buddha's light is the light from Sakyamuni's brow. When the sun shines on the surface of the cloud, it projects the figure onto the cloud. The tiny ice crystals and water droplets in the cloud are diffracted and diffused to form a unique circular rainbow, just like the Buddha's light mentioned in Buddhist scriptures. Therefore, people also call this natural phenomenon Buddha's light.

In Song Dynasty, Buddha's light was called light phase, and in modern times, it was commonly known as Bao Guang, Bao Halo, Guanyin Circle, Guanyin Wheel, Anti-Japanese China and so on. It's called Brocken Spectre in English, which is Brocken illusion. This phenomenon often occurs in the Broken Mountain in Germany, so it is called "Broken Phenomenon". People used to call this optical phenomenon "Broken Monster". So this mountain has been shrouded in mystery since ancient times, so that Goethe wrote it as a place where witches gathered in Faust.

In fact, Buddha's light is a natural phenomenon of light. When sunlight shines on the surface of clouds, it forms a natural wonder of Buddha's light through diffraction and diffuse reflection.
