Since 1949, the traditional and transplanted costume dramas include Matchmaker, Mulan, Cosmic Frontline, Mu Commanding, Broken Hongzhou, Five-year Acceptance, Seven Kinds of Sesame Officials, Playing Golden Branches, Three Crying Halls and Big Sacrifice Piles.
