Was Guang 'an in Nanchong before?

Guang 'an used to be under the control of Nanchong.

Guang 'an, a prefecture-level city in Sichuan Province, the hometown of Deng Xiaoping, a great man of the century, is located in the northeast of Sichuan Province.

Guang 'an belonged to Liangzhou in ancient times, and Yin Shang belonged to Yongzhou. In the fifth year of Liang Dynasty, the Qin Dynasty destroyed Bashu and established Ba County and Shu County. Guang 'an District, Linshui County and Huaying City of Guang 'an City are under the jurisdiction of Dangqu County, Vu Thang County is under the jurisdiction of Dianjiang County and Yuechi County is under the jurisdiction of Han 'an County (now Nanchong City). During the Han and Jin Dynasties, the architecture remained unchanged.

Guang 'an City is fan-shaped and distributed between the hills in the middle of Sichuan and the parallel ravines, which is the relay zone for the development of the Three Gorges reservoir area. Guang 'an is the nearest prefecture-level city in Sichuan province adjacent to the main city of Chongqing, and is known as the "gateway to eastern Sichuan".

Guang 'an is located in the humid monsoon climate zone in the middle subtropical zone, with warm climate, abundant heat, abundant rainfall, high air humidity, less sunshine, short frost period and strong wind.

The southeast of Guang 'an runs through Huaying Mountain Range, which divides Guang 'an into two geomorphic units. Yuechi County, Guang 'an District, Qianfeng District, Wusheng County and Huaying City, west of Huaying Mountain Range, are located in the hilly area of central Sichuan and are part of the "red hills" in Sichuan. The surface is not undulating, and the ravines are vertical and horizontal. Jialing River and Qujiang River meander southward into the Yangtze River in the form of deep bedrock.
