Taoism is an inherent religion of the Han nationality in China, with very distinctive national characteristics and fresh local flavor. Yun Qi, as a Taoist holy land in China, flourished in Tang Dynasty, Song Dynasty and Ming Dynasty. Taoist culture has a long history.

Yun Qi Mountain Taoism belongs to the orthodox school. It respects Laozi as the ancestor, worships the emperor, emphasizes Yin and Yang and the five elements, preaches alchemy and prays, worships alchemy and lives forever, lives in the palace and becomes a family, fastes and does not abstain from drinking meat, teaches disciples to save money, and does not pass it on from generation to generation. It is commonly known as "Fire-dwelling Taoist".

Entering the gate of Mount Yun Qi, we started hiking. No wonder there are 36 strange peaks and 72 strange rocks in Yun Qi. Looking at the beautiful scenery of Zhuquan Bitan, Tianqiao stone pillars, deep valley caves and Qifeng Ya Dan is like weaving her into a unique landscape painting. Don't ask, don't know, ask shocked! It turns out that this place is the most outstanding representative of Danxia landform in China

Stop and look closely. Sure enough, the mountain here has many characteristics of "steep body, flat top and slow feet", which is one of the distinctive features of Danxia landform, not to mention the highest landform mountain in China! Not to mention how tall and straight its peaks are, the word "red" can be called "the reddest, the most spectacular and the most worthy of the name" in Danxia landscape in China. We have been to Wuyishan in Fujian, Longhushan in Jiangxi, Taining in Fujian and other places. It is a "brocade-faced" sheet composed of clastic red rocks, gravel rocks and powdery sandstone. It happens that the cliffs in Yun Qi are red, the ridges are red, the caves are red, and the stone carvings on the cliffs are red. The whole mountain is red, and the cliff is dyed red by Danxia. Being in the mountains, I feel that Yuan Zhonglang, a great writer in the Ming Dynasty, said. Coupled with the distant mountains, the whole mountain seems to be Danxia floating between green mountains and green waters and white walls and tiles, and it is like a red coral inlaid with thousands of red agates.

Yun Qi Mountain is not high above sea level, with steep peaks, mostly conical and unique style. Baiyue Forest of Steles is one of the most touching human landscapes in the natural landscape here. It is said that no matter how good the scenery is, if no one sets foot on it, it will lose its spirituality. However, for thousands of years, Yun Qi's literati have been pouring in, leaving a lot of spirit and culture for future generations.

We saw thousands of exquisite stone carvings on this cliff full of mountains. Among them, Li Chuan, Wang Ou, and Su Huang, with their rich essences, various schools and different styles, have become grand views. Roughly speaking, there are more than 500 cliff stone carvings alone. In addition, the "Agate Red" is also engraved with countless cliff stone carvings and stone tablets, which are scattered like stars among the mountains, ridges, cliffs, terraces, bridges, pavilions, cliffs and secluded caves in Yun Qi, blending with the natural scenery. The whole mountain, with scenery to see and words to admire, has formed a charming cultural corridor.

It seems that this Yun Qi is not only a paradise of Taoism, but also the spiritual home of literati in the past dynasties, which made Li Bai, Zhu, Tang Yin, Hai Rui, Xu Xiake, Yu Dafu and others have a special liking for mountains and rivers, and also lingered in the love of rock springs, splashing ink and singing, leaving so many quatrains for them, Mo Bao.

After some admiration, we are going up the mountain again. I stopped for a long time in front of the Tiankai painting in Xian Zhen Cave. This painting was carved in the fifth year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1666), which has been more than 300 years since. After years of wind and rain, the color is still bright, and I didn't know the original material was different until I asked. This sapphire mineral pigment was equivalent to gold at that time, and one or two pigments were worth one or two gold! What a surprise!

The foothills and slopes make us linger, but we don't know how attractive the scenery is! With questions, we got together and climbed to the top of the mountain. On the mountain, from afar, you can see the endless mountains and rivers, and from time to time they are submerged by clouds. The curtain is like a barrier, and the peaks are hazy. If it floats, it will be beautiful. No wonder Emperor Qianlong praised Yun Qi as "the most famous mountain in the south of the Yangtze River" when he went down to the south of the Yangtze River, and lamented that what he said here was true.

Climbing up here, I feel that Yun Qi Mountain is called Baiyue Mountain, standing shoulder to shoulder with Huangshan Mountain! Compared with Huangshan Mountain, Yun Qi has its own characteristics. Huangshan Mountain is steep and majestic, and Yun Qi is a "heaven and earth". Yun Qi is like a beautiful country girl. She is quiet, kind and comfortable, presenting a kind of beauty that can be approached and integrated. The best thing is that the clouds here are different, with strange peaks and valleys, rugged rocks, bamboo and wood, flying springs and blue lakes, beautiful scenery and misty clouds. Looking at the distant mountains, the peaks are hazy, sometimes hidden, sometimes floating and changing rapidly.

Tang Xianzu, a great dramatist in the Ming Dynasty, wrote a poem: "If you want to know gold and silver, you should travel to yellow and white. I have never dreamed of Huizhou in my life. " Huang, a master of traditional Chinese painting, is proud of the stone carving "Home is in Baiyue Room of Huangshan Mountain". If the positioning of Yun Qi Mountain given by Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty is "the best scenery in a westward journey, the first famous mountain in the south of the Yangtze River", and it is amazing and shocking to Yun Qi Mountain, then Xu Xiake, a great traveler of Ming Dynasty who has a critical vision all his life, has visited Yun Qi Mountain twice every three years, which can better explain the beauty of Yun Qi Mountain, because there are only four mountains he revisited in his life.
