Students: seventy-two sages

No. 1

Xiang Tuo, a 7-year-old child.

Confucius said, "In a threesome, there must be a teacher."

Then, did Confucius, who was honored as "the most holy teacher" and "the teacher of all ages", have a teacher? The answer is yes. There are two historical records to prove it. One is Saint Amethyst's "Zhong Ni was Xiang Tuo's teacher, an ancient sage and a diligent scholar". The other is recorded in the Warring States Policy, "Fu was born at the age of seven and became a teacher of Confucius. Now I was born here at the age of twelve! " Who's Xiang Tuo? How can a 7-year-old child make the sage Confucius worship him as a teacher?

Confucius first saw it when he was giving a lecture in Lu. At that time, Xiang Tuo made a circle on the road with small stones, and built a hut with thin slate inside. Xiang Tuo was having a good time when suddenly a carriage came from Southwest Post Road, with Confucius sitting on it, followed by some disciples. Driving is the way of "death is inevitable". He kept shouting, "Drive! Drive! " Suddenly I saw Xiang Tuo squatting in the middle of the road playing, so I shouted, "Get out of the way! Get out of the way! " Xiang Tuo as if nothing had happened, so play with him. Lutz's face was full of anger. He got off the bus and stretched out his hand to hit Xiang Tuo, but Confucius stopped him. Confucius got off the bus and asked, "Why don't you make way for this child?" Xiang Tuo said, "the city of kurama? Or is the horse hiding in the city? "

Confucius was speechless for a moment, and his disciples were speechless. Finally, Confucius and others had to walk around the city.

Early the next morning, Confucius and his disciples went to Xiang Tuo. At this time, there are a group of goose feet playing in the pond. Xiang Tuo asked Confucius, "Why do geese cry so loudly?" Confucius said, "Because of its long neck." Xiang Tuo said, "Toads and frogs have short necks and make loud noises." Confucius speaks another language. Xiang Tuo sincerely said:

"People say that you know astronomy, geography and steel, and you are an omniscient saint. Why don't you explain these things to me clearly? " Confucius sighed, bowed down and said kindly to Xiang Tuo, "The afterlife is terrible. I should worship you as a teacher."

The story that Confucius became an apprentice at the age of seven soon spread, and governors of all countries wanted to find Xiang Tuo for their own use. In order to avoid the disaster, he hid in the deep mountains, but was discovered by the warriors of Wu and Qi. The warriors of Wu could not be hijacked in the battle, so they were stabbed to death. After Xiang Tuo's death, the late Buddha Xiang Tuo became a "saint".
