Famous scenic spots in Zhangyan town

Zhangyan Park.

Zhangyan Park is located in the middle of Zhangyan Town, Jinshan District, covering an area of 4 1 mu. It is closer to Zhangyan Old Street, near the city river there. It was originally the private residence of Wu Liang, a local noble family in Yuan Dynasty. After several generations' operation, it has been expanded to the famous Wu Jia Garden in Wuliang in Ming Dynasty. During the prosperous period of Qing Dynasty, the family wealth declined, and the garden was sold to Qianjia, which became a part of Qianshiyi Village, commonly known as "Qianjia Garden". By the time of the Republic of China, the Qian family was declining, and the garden was sold to other families, but people still called it Qian's Garden. 1953, the park was once called "People's Park". 1956, the government mobilized the masses to organize and rebuild some scenic spots. In 1958, Zhangyan Park was initially built and opened to the public free of charge in 1960. During the Cultural Revolution, people were busy with the Cultural Revolution, so the construction and management of parks stagnated. After the Cultural Revolution, the park was rebuilt and tickets were sold to tourists from 65438 to 0980. Wei, former secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, inscribed the name of the park.
