Introduction of Taizhou dialect

Taizhou dialect /t? e33 t？ Me? u33？ ua 13/[Roman t & amp； #39; E-tsiu wa] is a dialect of Wu dialect, which is spoken by residents in Taizhou, the southeast coast of Zhejiang Province. It is quite different from Mandarin in pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. Linhai Dialect is the representative dialect of Taizhou Dialect, because it has the characteristics of South Taiwan Province and North Taiwan Province and Taizhou's position in the history of Linhai. However, Taizhou dialect has changed a lot, and even the pronunciation between counties and cities is very different. Taizhou dialect was formed between Qin and Han Dynasties. Because Taizhou is located in a corner of the sea, it retains more ancient Yue Wu dialects. Taizhou dialect in a broad sense includes Linhai dialect, Huangyan dialect and Xianju dialect, with a population of 5.8 million, accounting for 1 1.6% of the total population of Wu dialect, and can be subdivided into Nantai dialect and Beitai dialect. Nantai includes Linhai, Huangyan, Jiaojiang, Luqiao, Wenling, Yuhuan and Yueqing (north of Qingjiang), and its pronunciation is close to that of Northern Wu, represented by urban dialect and Wenling dialect. Beitai includes Sanmen, Tiantai, Xianju and Ninghai (south of the fork road), represented by Tiantai dialect. There are some difficulties in the north-south dialogue. Huangyan, Jiaojiang, Luqiao and Wenling in the south are close, but several dialects in the north are far apart.
