Hengkou Town, Ankang City is the place where Ganges Reservoir will be relocated. Ankang, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Shaanxi Province, is located in the southeast of Shaanxi Province, bordering Yunyang District and Yunxi County of Hubei Province in the east, Zhuxi County and Zhushan County of Hubei Province in the southeast, Wuxi County of Chongqing in the south and Chengkou County of Chongqing and Wanyuan City of Sichuan Province in the southwest.
