Chenyaohu Town, in front of the Yangtze River and behind Sanguan Mountain, is named after Chenyaohu, which covers an area of 28,000 mu. The blood of Lu Sheng, secretary of Tonglu County Party Committee, and Hu Jiting, secretary of Tonghuai Diving Center, was spilled in Yao Chen Lake. The existing revolutionary cultural relics in Chenyaohu Town include the tomb of Lusheng Martyrs, the ancestral hall of Xie Jia, and the former site of Tongdong Anti-Japanese Democratic Government. Chenyaohu Town is also one of the cradles of Dongxiang Wushu. Nearly half of the thirty-six monks who eradicated evil monks in Jiuhua Mountain during the light year of the Qing Dynasty came from Chenyaohu Town.
