Is Ma Dashuai's original novel Fan Debiao dead?

There is no original novel, but an original script, and the ending of the third book is Fan Debiao's final ending, not dead.

At the end of the third part, Ma Dashuai and Fan Debiao met by chance at Tingting's wedding with a boxer. Ma Dashuai told Fan Debiao that several bosses were willing to invest in Majiapuzi, and suggested that Fan Debiao should not wander around the city.
