History of Wushi Temple:
Wushi Temple was first seen in Ouyang Xiu's Collection of Ancient Records and Zhao Mingcheng's Record of Scholars in the Northern Song Dynasty. In the Southern Song Dynasty, Hong collected some inscriptions and images of Wushi Temple in Lishi and Xu Li, and named them after the portraits of Wushi Temple. Later, due to flooding, the temple fell into the ground.
During the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, Huang Yi and others carried out excavation and cleaning, and thought that there were four stone chambers, namely Wuliang Temple, Qianshi Chamber, Houshi Chamber and Zuoshi Chamber. Except for Confucius who moved to see Laozi, they all built houses on the spot, and built portraits on the walls, surrounded by stone walls, with the inscription "samurai hall".
The re-emergence of this batch of stone carving art has attracted the attention of the world with its rare "eight points of simplicity and exquisiteness". Famous artists are scrambling to expand their ink, and Chinese and foreign books and periodicals are widely recorded.
