What does the causal cycle mean?

Original: Good and evil reports, like shadows, three generations of cause and effect, without losing reincarnation.

Interpretation: The results of good and evil that we get in this life are all karma that we planted in our last life. And what you do in this life will be rewarded in the afterlife.
