Wujiang is a place where foreigners are concentrated.

Wujiang's words are mainly concentrated in Pompeii, that is, Li Sanqiao.

In the middle and late Neolithic period, there were human activities in Wujiang.

The land in Wujiang belonged to Wu in ancient times. In the twenty-fifth year of the Qin Dynasty (the first emperor) (the first 222 years), Huiji County was established, only in Wuxian County and Youquan County (the three countries were renamed Jiaxing). From then on, in the second year of Kaiping, Hou Liang (908), Wujiang belonged to Jiaxing in the south and Wuxian in the north.

In the third year of Kaiping in the Five Dynasties (909), Qian Liu, King of Wu Yue, cut the southern part of Wu County and the northern part of Jiaxing, and set Wujiang County as Suzhou. In the 13th year from the founding of the county to the Yuan Dynasty (1276), Suzhou was renamed Zhongwu County, Pingjiang Army, Suzhou, Pingjiang House and Pingjiang Road, and Wujiang County has always belonged to it.

In the second year of Yuan Dynasty (1296), Wujiang County was promoted to Zhongzhou, belonging to Pingjiang Road. In the 16th year of Zheng Zheng (AD 1356), Pingjiang Road was renamed Longpingfu, and in the 17th year (AD 1357), Pingjiang Road was renamed.

In the first year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1368), it was renamed Suzhou House, and the affiliation of Wujiang House remained unchanged. In the second year of Hongwu (1369), Wujiang Prefecture was still changed to a county, and its affiliation remained unchanged.

In the fourth year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1726), Zhenjiang County was located in the west of Wujiang County, and Wujiang County was still located in the east. Wujiang County and Zhenze County belong to Suzhou Prefecture. In the tenth year of Xianfeng (1860), the peasant rebels of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom captured Wujiang and Zhenze counties, both of which belonged to Sufu province of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. During this period, Shengze was once assigned to xiushui county.

In the second year of Tongzhi (1863), the Qing army captured Sufu Province of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, and Wujiang and Zhenze counties still belonged to Suzhou Prefecture. In the third year of Xuantong (19 1 1), the Revolution of 1911 broke out, and on September 25th (Gregorian calendar 1 15), Wujiang and Zhenze counties were "recovered" at the same time.
