A Summary of Journey to the West through the Flame Mountain

Because last time Hong Haier wanted to eat Tang monk's meat, he had a grudge against Sikong, so Princess Tiefan refused to borrow it.

The first time Wukong borrowed a fan, Princess Iron Fan used a banana fan. Bodhisattva Ji Ling learned the truth and gave him a "Ding Fengdan" to borrow a fan.

Wukong came to borrow a fan for the second time, and the princess slapped him again. Wukong's mouth was full of Ding Fengdan, and he didn't move. The princess hurried back to the cave and stayed at home. Wukong turned into a bug and entered the princess's stomach when Tiefan was drinking tea. The princess had unbearable abdominal pain and promised to borrow a fan, but she gave a fake fan.

The third time, Wukong became Niu Wangmo, which was a real trick. When the cow came home, she learned the truth and hurried after it. Wukong fought with the cow. Bajie and Friar Sand came forward to help and finally beat Niu Wangmo to his true colors. Wukong put out the mountain fire with a banana fan, and the four of them continued to travel west to learn from the scriptures.

Introduction to the work:

The Journey to the West was written by Wu Cheng'en, a novelist in the Ming Dynasty. According to the records of the Western Regions in Tang Dynasty, folklore and Yuan Zaju. The Song Dynasty's Poem of Sanzang's Learning from the Scriptures (whose real name is Sanzang's Learning from the Scriptures) is the earliest prototype of The Journey to the West, and the Tang Priest took Master Xuanzang as the prototype.

As the first romantic novel in ancient China, it is a pioneering work of magical realism. First, I wrote that the Monkey King was born, and then I met Tang Priest, Pig Bajie and Friar Sand. Tang Priest went through eighty-one difficulties from reincarnation to Buddhist scriptures, went all the way south, and finally arrived in the Western Heaven to meet the Tathagata Buddha, and finally the Five Saints passed away.

Since The Journey to the West came out, it has been translated into western languages and spread to Europe and America. He published many research papers and monographs, and gave a high evaluation of this novel, which is known as one of the classical Four Great Classical Novels in China.

Wu Cheng'en (about 1500-1582) is a native of Shanyang County (now Huai 'an District, Huai 'an City, Jiangsu Province). My ancestral home was in Gaodian, Tongcheng, Anhui Province, and my ancestors lived in Gaodian, Tongcheng, so I called it Gaodian Wu. The Journey to the West, an outstanding novelist in China in Ming Dynasty, is one of the four classical novels of China. Since childhood, Minhui has read widely and especially likes fairy tales. After repeated setbacks in the imperial examination, he made up the examination and gave tribute to students in Jiajing. In the forty-five years of Jiajing (1566), he was appointed as the director of Changxing County, Zhejiang Province. Wu Cheng'en Memorial Hall was built in a teahouse on the mountain, and its stone statue was built at the gate at the foot of the mountain to commemorate him.
