How to evaluate the love of sages? What do you think of the analysis of human nature?

The Love of Sages is a morbid and abnormal love, twisted desire and gloomy oriental aesthetics under the shell of sisters' enemies, revenge and cultivation. Probably only the Japanese can make such a curious subject into a classical literary aesthetic feeling, which is beautiful but not vulgar.

At first glance, the story has a heavy taste and a strange brain circuit.

The hostess Makoto and her daughter Er Lily accidentally became friends in childhood. Lily, who lacks family warmth, is jealous and tries to take away all the people and things she loves. First, he seduced Makoto's father, causing the other person to commit suicide, and then he took away his first love.

Realizing the betrayal of the so-called best friend, Makoto began a revenge plan for twenty years. She named Lily's son Naomami (homophonic with Naomi, a girl who is in love with idiots), and cultivated each other into an ideal partner bit by bit according to her own ideas.

Originally, this pair of 20-year-old CP should be the biggest attraction of this drama. However, the treatment of these two parts in the play is not an imaginary curious style, but an introverted and hazy beauty. More often, it reflects the inner abuse and the inner entanglement of the truth.

Makoto's revenge plan was inspired by Junichiro Tanizaki's novel Love for an Idiot. The man in the book is obsessed with the beautiful girl and cultivates her according to his ideal appearance, but in the end he becomes an idiot who is willing to be driven by her. Makoto imitates this model, but reminds himself to be a saint.

In Junichiro Tanizaki's works, female worship is a distinct theme, which is inseparable from beauty. This kind of beauty can be cruel, eccentric, distorted and even nondescript, which perfectly explains the relationship between Makoto and Naoko.

However, the sadomasochism between Makoto and Naoko is not the focus of The Sage's Love. The drama spends the most time telling the past and emotional entanglements between Makoto and Lily, involving the complexity of a series of related characters depicting human nature.

All tragedies stem from morbid desires. One of the most twisted characters in the play is, uh, Lily. On the surface, she is a girl who betrays her friends, takes everything away from the truth, and brazenly matches her as a best friend.

Lily's real wish is "to be the truth". She can stand up when Makoto is bullied and ruin each other's lives again and again to maintain their strange relationship and tie each other to her side. This inexplicable psychology stems from the lack of family care in childhood, which makes her crazy for the real reason of family happiness, hoping that the other person belongs to herself and becomes a part of herself.

Therefore, when Lily found that this balance for many years might be broken by Naoko, her first thought was to kill her son.

It seems that from beginning to end, all the misfortunes were caused by Lily. But the complexity of human nature can't be summed up in black and white, and no one is innocent in this tragedy.

It really changed from a victim to an avenger, but the object of her revenge was Naoko, which had nothing to do with past grievances and hurt each other cruelly emotionally. But ironically, she finally failed to control her inner desire and fell in love with this boy who was trained by herself.

Makoto's father is a respected writer, but he was easily seduced by Lily, caught by Makoto, and committed suicide in shame. But from another perspective, it is quite intriguing. If he hadn't been found out, he might have developed this relationship with Lily with peace of mind.

Naoko was involved in the feud of the previous generation, barely innocent, but in the end, his obsession with Makoto has reached the point of almost distortion. His persistence seems to be no longer this love, but only the possession of each other.

The obvious winner of the whole drama is Makoto's first love, and Lily's husband forgave me. He lived between two women and was praised as a first-class writer by Makoto's father. However, he also admitted that he still loved Zhenzhen, but only questioned his ability to love her. His cowardly character made him choose to seek advantages and avoid disadvantages for many years.

At the end of the story, Lily, who lost her mind, found an excuse to cheat Makoto out and wanted to die with her. As a result, Lily died in a car accident. Makoto was completely paralyzed from the neck down. Naoko finally got his wish and stayed with this woman who made him obsessed forever.

This absurd and crazy farce was filmed with charming and exquisite texture, and the stunt of dog blood was never the focus of the play.

Once driven by morbid desires, he is no longer a saint who stays out of it. Idiot who lost himself was doomed to be trapped in a cage.
