What is the origin of Guishan Mountain in Zaozhuang, Shandong Province?

Mengzhuang Town, located in the northeast of Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, is close to Baodu National Forest Park, surrounded by mountains in the west and south, including Guishan Mountain, Sheshan Mountain and Huangshan Mountain, with a drainage area of about 6,000 mu.

Guishan Mountain in Zaozhuang is named after the shape of the mountain like a creeping turtle. Guishan is more than 300 meters above sea level. The cliffs around the top of the mountain are densely covered with flagpole sockets set by heroes of past dynasties. Only the south and north sides can go up and down naturally.

There is a spring in Guishan between Guishan and Sheshan, and the spring flows down the mountain stream, tinkling. There is also a mummy tomb and the site of Guishan Temple in Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty. There are many natural caves on the side cliffs of Shanxi, which contain stalactites and stalagmites of different shapes. It is a famous geological park in Shandong Province.
