Story counselor: The metaphorical operation of psychological counseling contains rich knowledge of metaphorical psychology, and also records a large number of touching psychological counseling stories of love and kindness. These stories can sweep away the dust in ordinary life, let us know ourselves in the stories and see more possibilities in life. Author Li Yongqiang, graduated from School of Psychology of Beijing Normal University with a master's degree; Qi Hao, Associate Research Fellow, Institute of Educational Psychology, Tianjin Academy of Educational Sciences, graduated from Tianjin Nankai University 200 1, with a doctorate in psychology. Published by Tsinghua University Publishing House, version 1, 201June 4. The following are the notes of reading the first article "Interesting Story Counseling".

? The first article "Interesting Story Counseling"

? 1. The processing of metaphorical stories has a long history. Listening to stories and telling stories seem to be people's innate instinct. Everyone has this experience when growing up. It can be said that we grew up listening to stories. Stories have connotations, convey ideas and culture, and exert a subtle influence on people. We call such stories metaphors. In fact, our life is full of metaphors, and metaphors are often used in our language. For example, we can use metaphors to describe our feelings, such as "My heart is shrouded in a dark cloud, I have no tears, but my heart is raining" to describe the inner pain and sadness.

? After the story is finished, both the storyteller and the listener may forget these stories after meeting the deep-seated needs of talking and listening. However, the spirit expressed in the story will not be easily forgotten. When the life situation is similar or related to the story, the light in the story will play a role, giving people a subtle guide, such as the hand of wisdom.

? The pioneer of using metaphorical stories as psychological counseling is the late American hypnotist Milton Erickson. He uses multi-layer communication skills and various metaphorical stories to communicate consciousness and subconscious, because subconscious language is a metaphor with many symbols. Consciously listen to the surface content of the story, and subconsciously listen to the deep structure of the story; The context of the story hides the possibility of problem solving, thus subtly guiding the parties to change their consciousness and enrich their positive self-energy. The charm of the hypnosis method invented by Erickson lies in breaking the traditional form of hypnosis. He tells a story in a slow tone, magically putting people into a hypnotic state, and at the same time hiding what he said to the parties in the story in the form of metaphor.

? 2. What is psychological counseling for metaphorical stories? Metaphor is metaphor. Literally, it means saying what you want to say, not directly, in other words, to make people accept it. Psychological counseling through metaphorical stories is similar to or even more advantageous than cognitive behavioral therapy that changes cognition, behavior and results. Metaphorical story counseling advocates that people's growth should be regarded as stories of various sizes. Life is made up of many stories, and we live in stories. Everyone has a lot of inner stories to remember, and they want to share them with others, to be understood, understood and recognized.

? What is metaphor story counseling? It is through the capture of emotions that it develops into a buried therapeutic factor and externalizes the problem. Whether it is composition teaching or psychological counseling, metaphorical stories pay special attention to the capture of emotions. Because we believe that people's living is a kind of mood, and interpersonal communication is emotional communication. Grasping the context of emotion also grasps the root cause.

? 3. The basic model of metaphor counseling story. First of all, we need to construct a homomorphic structure from the perspective of real life to symbolic metaphor, that is, the relationship between events, characters and roles in metaphorical stories is similar to that in real cases. Metaphorical stories can make us change our horizons, from the personality vision of life reality to the spiritual vision of symbolizing the world in the story. There are three main conditions.

? First, the structure of the story should be equal to the psychological structure troubled by the tutor, that is, the metaphorical story should be symmetrical with the protagonist's life world.

? Second, there should be a "channel" in the story to provide confused answers. In this process, the metaphorical story finds a way out for the protagonist and a feasible answer.

? Thirdly, the story contains multiple levels, including multiple levels of consciousness and subconscious cognition, so the metaphorical story has a certain structure, which susan perrow thinks is triple structure: metaphor, plot and solution. Under normal circumstances, it is to conceive the ending first and let the unbalanced state return to balance; According to the ending, find out the metaphor and my symbol in the situation; Finally, according to metaphor, weave the plot to achieve a balanced state. This is the core content of the story process or plot.

? Metaphorical stories are metaphors of hidden life experiences and projections of the inner world of the parties in different emotional states, which can help the parties to see themselves more clearly like a mirror. Such a metaphorical story is like a dream full of symbols and dreams, which effectively catalyzes inner understanding through fantastic pictures and dialogue with the heart.

Milton, a hypnotist, was the first person to use metaphorical stories in psychotherapy. The word "metaphor" comes from the Greek word "metaphora", which means "transmission". With this theory, he thinks that all kinds of metaphorical stories communicate both consciousness and unconsciousness, and we can find the realistic correspondence from the stories, that is, the deep unconsciousness is transmitted, so that we can use our favorite stories. The book Story Counselor: Metaphorical Operation of Psychological Counseling is also based on this purpose, which introduces us to the tradition, methods and basic modes of metaphorical story counseling and its role in mental health education. Metaphor is a magical thing, full of imagination. First connect us with the story, then under the tension of the plot itself, we are moved and violated, then unbalanced, and then seek a balanced solution.

There are two conditions for therapeutic metaphorical stories. Firstly, the metaphorical story should be related to the world of the parties and form a symmetrical homomorphism. The second is that the metaphorical story should find a possible way out for the parties. Finally, it is a solution. Personally, I find it very interesting. The second part of the book gives us a case of metaphor therapy, how to help children ease their emotions and overcome vulnerability. In fact, metaphorical stories have a particularly good effect on children. After all, adults' personalities are often fixed, while children are different. They like stories. They learn knowledge and imagination from stories and are transformed by stories to find themselves again.

As adults, we release our subconscious when creating stories. For example, the phrase "but beauty is more than pain" in the book is really subtle to judge that the healer has a painful experience in his heart. Our emotions or subconscious will always be highlighted in free writing, which we need to grasp. In addition, it is why writing has therapeutic effect, because it contains release and therapeutic effect.

Reflections of Story Counselors (3): Let Metaphorical Stories Accompany Our Growth

"People have an innate enthusiasm for metaphorical stories, and listening to and telling stories seems to be human instinct." In my opinion, the object of psychological intervention with metaphorical stories should be more suitable for children. Because it is children's nature to like listening to stories and learn from them.

"Lack of wisdom is lack of stories". I am not a storyteller, so I envy my ability to tell stories, but I have no patience to listen to them. Therefore, reading the story of this book is still like torture for me.

In my opinion, this kind of psychological counseling is a highly professional job, and it is really difficult for ordinary people to flexibly fabricate stories to guide their psychological problems. But through this book, we can understand this important psychological counseling method, so as to improve our understanding, which is very helpful to our own life and children's education.

As a metaphorical story that acts on the subconscious, it is itself a channel of efficient communication and absolute persuasion. His most important point is to avoid the characteristics of traditional storytelling and preaching: he always contacts the shortcomings and weaknesses of the audience at the end of the story and puts forward the requirements and suggestions for improvement. This invisibly puts people in need of help on the opposite side, which is too utilitarian and easy to stimulate opposing emotions and rebellious psychology. Therefore, the effect of education will be greatly reduced.

This metaphorical story is a story on the surface, but its elements form a symmetrical "homomorphism" with the world of the parties, cleverly hiding the emotions of the parties in the story. So, on the surface, I am listening to the story, but what the subconscious receives is the information hidden behind the story. It will have the effect of listening to the heart, moistening things quietly, coming naturally and suddenly enlightened.

In other words, metaphor provides an effective way to communicate with the deep self. Metaphorical stories can empathize with the people concerned, and the development of stories can provide new possibilities for solving problems. Only in this way can we get in touch with our original positive life energy, so as to motivate ourselves, strive for the upper reaches and make bold progress.

Taiwan Province Picture Book Training Counselor "Stupid Gu" put it very well: "When you really accept yourself and feel that you have enough, you don't need to beg outside the camp, so you can enjoy yourself in an ordinary and plain life!"

The book catalogue lists the titles of each section and outlines the specific contents of the book. It is easy to find and is very rare for readers. The left footer indicates the title and page number, and the right header indicates the title and page number, which is very convenient to read. This page number design is very novel, and it also improves the layout design level of the book.

Reflections on The Story Counselor (IV): Novel and Special Metaphorical Story Therapy

In this book, the author provides us with a new type of psychotherapy through a series of psychological counseling cases, methods and skills with metaphorical stories. I feel very novel and special after reading it. From digging up the metaphorical function of stories, studying the metaphorical model of stories, and using metaphorical stories to correct the behavior of problem children in practice, readers who are first exposed to metaphorical story therapy are very surprised. The cases in this paper involve children's emotional disorders such as anger, fear and inferiority, and effective counseling is carried out through corresponding metaphorical stories. This process is unique. In this book, the author also tries his best to show the creative methods of metaphorical stories-nine-grid creative method, emotional language image interpretation and creative method. The content is detailed and heavy, and it is worth studying carefully. I believe it has reference value for friends who are engaged in psychological counseling, especially for children's mental health. For me, although I am not engaged in psychological counseling, this method of interpreting and creating metaphorical stories still opens a window for us to discover the metaphorical meaning in the text when reading literary works, just like construction and disassembly. It also provides methods and models for us to observe the meaning of metaphorical elements in literary works and communicate with reality. -Story metaphor, this expression is really amazing. In my understanding, constructing a metaphorical story is actually a process of stopping the current story-moving on-putting the situation from the perspective of real personality into the perspective of the story. This is a bit like fantasy novel creating his own "spiritual world" and "spiritual world", and then continuing to fabricate stories in such a closed space, so that the story structure conforms to the current psychological structure (homomorphism), so that the characters, elements and processes in the story can find the corresponding relationship (homomorphism) with the active elements of real people, and develop synchronously in this process to find a way out (peers) for the characters. -the process of constructing literary works in this way is actually very consistent with our psychological process when reading. For example, when watching fantasy novel, the protagonist's appearance is usually weak and bullied, but the protagonist never gives up, works hard, and with all kinds of coincidences, eventually becomes a hero who overcomes himself, saves himself and finally saves the world. Building a story like this is actually a process of constantly strengthening personal psychological energy. Making up a story with therapeutic purpose for the nature of psychological counseling, of course, also needs to be tailored specifically for the interaction and complementarity of psychological details of therapists. Therefore, this kind of story metaphor counseling is very targeted. Once the right medicine is given, the effect is remarkable and the influence is far-reaching. You can study it carefully.

Reflection on Story Consultant (5): Stories heal the soul.

Chinese psychology is generally accepted by the public as "fortune teller". We often see street stalls, gossip books, paintings and palm reading, which will give people "fortune telling". In fact, when we stopped, we found that these fortune tellers were all people who had psychological feelings recently or met some difficulties in their lives. They may not be able to tell their relatives, just find a fortune teller to enlighten them. Psychology should be a discipline originated from the West, but due to the rapid economic and social development in China, the high-paced life and survival pressure, more and more problems have emerged, and China's psychology has really developed. Seeing this story, the counselor really shines at the moment. This is another aspect of psychological counseling, which I have never dabbled in. I have read some books on psychology, and there is also a book "Psychology of Heavy Taste", which mainly analyzes some mental diseases that people think incredible, while the book "Story Psychologist" is dedicated to treating cases and analysis of various mental diseases by using this seemingly inconspicuous means. Because I have children and used to be a child, listening to stories and telling stories is a compulsory course. Especially in the years of raising children, I have been exposed to excellent picture books from all over the world. They are all very good stories. I didn't know there were so many "curative effects" in the stories before. The story counselor listed many cases of story metaphor therapy. It can help angry children to ease their emotions, help them overcome their fragility, resolve the barriers of alien fear, and provide psychological counseling for children with inferiority ... Our children may have such problems. As parents, we can create and interact metaphorical stories according to the methods in the book. In the book, we can not only master some practical storytelling skills and methods, but also understand the present situation, psychological analysis, types and functions of metaphorical psychological counseling, and have a deeper understanding of this brand-new field.

Thoughts of Story Consultants (6): Telling stories around bonfires

The picture outlined at the beginning of the book Story Counselor-Metaphorical Operation of Psychological Counseling-"Telling stories around a bonfire" suddenly brings people into a specific situation. Of course, this is not an illusory structure, but a tradition of primitive people in ancient times. But in today's context, there is a kind of breath and warmth that makes people inexplicably moved. The story is also called metaphor, and the feelings described and conveyed in the story naturally have the magic power to connect people's hearts. Metaphor itself is safe, so it dares to touch emotions, and because it can touch the subconscious, it has a healing function. I have long known that psychological counseling has a story paradigm. I read this book for a deeper and more comprehensive understanding. As a metaphorical story, there are three necessary conditions under the generalization of teacher Wang Lishu: one is to form a homomorphism symmetrical with the protagonist, but there must be a "channel" to provide confusing answers, and the other is a "thorough story" covering multiple levels. Susan, doctor of Australian story? Perot's explanations are classified into metaphor, plot and solution respectively. I think it is more important, as the author said: "Speaking and listening are everyone's deep-seated needs. When we share an important story, we have the experience of combining with each other. This is an internal connection, which makes us know each other better. You never know what you will learn from this story, how you will feel, or how deep and intimate a relationship you may build by telling and listening to this story. " For psychotherapy, the role of stories is a kind of externalization, which externalizes problems into stories that have nothing to do with themselves, and then develops new viewpoints, looks at the original problems and explores the way out through the development of stories. As far as I understand it, the three necessary conditions mentioned above are very simple. However, the Jiugongge creative method of the metaphor story mentioned later is somewhat confusing. There are three levels of stories (metaphor, process and ending), three levels of story development (resources, relationship and transformation) and three levels of story scripts (predicament, growth and existence). Each level is relatively understandable, but the relationship between these three basic levels is not clearly explained in the book from beginning to end. As far as the arrangement of the whole book is concerned, there are still some repetitive and unclear problems. I hope to have a chance to tidy it up again.

Reflections on Story Counselors (7): Awakening Life with Stories

Adults and children like to listen to stories, but children are satisfied with fairy tales and adults read novels, but in the final analysis, this is a form of stories.

Before reading, we feel that we like this book or don't like that book. It is a vague inner need that urges us to continue reading. We just think that our favorite books contain the answers we want about life and our sense of identity with our lifestyle. After all, we look for another self in the book.

After reading this story counselor, some ideas about reading suddenly became clear. In fact, all our reading is a kind of self-healing. Who doesn't have a big or small injury in his heart? We find ourselves in books, sew up wounds in books and live a healthy life again in books. Although these processes are unconscious, we really keep facing ourselves in the story.

Yes, stories are so powerful and magical. It's like magic in fairy tales. I have always felt that I am an unimaginative person, and I never thought that I could make up a short story, but when I read this book, I almost wanted to say that it is really like a magic book.

This is a psychological book that teaches you how to heal yourself by creating your own stories. You can create your own stories, you can walk into your heart through metaphorical stories, you can open the door of your imagination, and you can learn how to face yourself better. Of course, if you have children, these methods can also help you make up a better story for your children, a story more suitable for children, and you can lead your children to a healthier life together.

This book reveals the human tradition of using stories to compare life from the beginning. I think the most typical one is fable. Humans are good at telling the truth of life through fables by various means, which has been happening all over the world. Metaphors in fairy tales are also common. In the book, the author takes us into many classic fairy tales, unlocking their profound connotations for us one by one, and letting us re-understand those fairy tales that touched our hearts in childhood from a brand-new perspective. When we reread them with such inspiration, you will find that writing stories is not difficult at all, because you are thinking about life and writing, not as before.

When analyzing metaphorical stories, most authors choose foreign classic fairy tales, such as Beauty and the Beast. Almost every story has a psychological perspective that deserves our re-understanding. Of course, he also chose a fairy tale from China to analyze. Comparing the two stories, we can see that China's fairy tales lack ultimate psychological salvation and can't bring enough psychological enlightenment to readers. I think this may be related to China's philosophy. China's fairy tales are circulated among the people, but the people lack enough speculation, which leads to the fairy tales always ending in tragedy, while most foreign fairy tales end in redemption, which is also the reason why we feel good when we look at foreign fairy tales.

The writer is a senior psychological counselor. They help students reinterpret their own lives by recreating metaphorical stories, and guide their children to the final outcome with answers. This kind of counseling is obviously easier for children to put down their guard and face their hearts.

In fact, there are rules for how to create metaphorical stories. Nine-grid writing method can bring us into a brand-new perspective of story writing, step by step, layer by layer. As long as you find a pattern, it is a very easy thing.

This book is full of vitality, so it's a pity to miss it.
