Weng 'an is located in the second terrace of Guizhou Plateau, across the Wujiang River in the north, and belongs to the plateau area of karst hills and depressions in the north-central Guizhou. The terrain is high in the southeast, low in the northwest and gentle in the middle. The highest elevation of Huazhu Mountain is1567m, and the lowest elevation of Wujiang River is 479m, with an average elevation of1028m.
