Every day after that, Yang Gong would sacrifice to his son, so later generations called the 13th day of the first month and related days "Yang Gong Sacrifice". Generally speaking, there are no large-scale celebrations, weddings, funerals and tours these days.

The Historical Origin of "Yang"

People designated the 13th day of the first month as "Yang Gongbi" to commemorate their loyalty to the country.

Later, some people set one day of each month as the anniversary of Yang Gong's death to commemorate Yang Gong, commonly known as "13 taboos in Yang Gong". It is unlucky to do nothing on this day.
