Zhang (1878—1949), a dulcimer, was born in Xiushan Town, Tonghai County.

Zhang was born in a scholarly family. His father, Zhang, was highly recommended and had a strict family education. When he saw his son, he didn't expect to be famous, so he ordered to practice medicine. However, Zhang loves music. When he opened a pharmacy to practice medicine, he joined the Five Holy Congregations in Tonghai to study Buddhist scriptures. He once absorbed a group of squires such as Lu Shan and Qian from Lin Daxin, Yangguang Township, and organized them to set up a "Holy Society" to give a lecture on East longitude. At the same time, together with (1909- 1968), it broke the feudal imprisonment, absorbed a group of boys and girls such as Zhang and others to teach Buddhist scriptures, and established the only female Buddhist scripture class in Yunnan-Miao Shan Society.

In his youth, Zhang, together with Zhao Mianzhi, Kong, Dai Xiangcheng and Lu Guangyao, invited Guizhou artists to teach Guizhou dulcimer rap, mainly playing dulcimer, huqin, flute and drum board, and also singing. In the 30th year of the Republic of China (194 1 year), a dulcimer rap group headed by him was formed, which was separated from Kong Chenhan and Lu Guangyao, and went to public places, businesses and houses in Kunming, Yuxi and Tonghai counties to rap dulcimer, or organized rap after performing in The Cave Classic to satisfy the taste. At the same time, I also arranged dulcimer tracks such as Purple Sword and Fourteen Flowers for fans to rap. His favorite rap roles are Lao Dan and Erlaosheng, such as Qiu Mu in Sang Huiyuan, Wu Wang in Zhan Wanshan and Erlaosheng in Night Home. Because of his humorous nature, humorous singing style and realistic feelings, he often makes people laugh, so he won the audience's love.
