Brief introduction of surrender in surrender town

The surrender is located in the northeast of Fuyang District, Hangzhou, adjacent to Xihu District and Yuhang District of Hangzhou. It is the north gate of Fuyang in and out of Hangzhou, and its location advantage is very prominent. The town covers an area of 54.3 square kilometers, of which mountainous area accounts for 67.5% and cultivated land only accounts for 8.5%. In the Qing Dynasty, the present town belonged partly to Hang County and partly to Changshou Jiuzhuang in the northeast of Fuyang County. During the Republic of China, it was Changxin Township in Fuyang and Shoumin Township in Hangxian County. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, the Japanese invaders occupied Hangzhou, and Songdian Village in Changxin Township was one of the strongholds of the Japanese invaders in Hangzhou. There are many bunkers, trenches and military dogs around Songdian Village. Thousands of people were killed by Japanese invaders and abandoned in thousands of graves in the south of the village. In August of 34 (1945), Japan announced its unconditional surrender. On September 4th, Songdian Village (now the Mid-Autumn Festival Village of Songdian Natural Village) in Xinxiang, Fuyang County, was designated as the place to accept the surrender of the Japanese invaders from Zhejiang. The natural population growth rate is 5.6‰, and the planned fertility rate is 97.8%.
