Located in Dangcheng Village, Xinkou Town, Xiqing District, the Thousand Jade Buddha Temple was built in the Sui Dynasty and has a strong incense. Due to war and other reasons, it was destroyed several times in history. In August, 2003, it was officially approved by the Affairs Office of the Bureau of Religious Affairs of Tianjin Municipal People's Government for restoration and reconstruction, and now it is the largest number of Buddhist temples dedicated to Myanmar's natural jade buddhas in China. It is one of the 20 key projects in Xiqing District in 2008.

Qianzun Jade Buddha Temple covers an area of 400 mu with a building area of 53,000 square meters. All the Buddha statues in the temple were presented by the monk king of Myanmar, made of Burmese jade, with a total of more than 1 1000. The largest reclining Buddha is 7 meters long, 3 meters high and weighs 25 tons, while the tallest standing Buddha is 4.7 meters high and weighs 15 tons. There are 8 tons of jade buddhas in Manjusri, Pu Xian, Guanyin and Dizang King Hall, and 20 tons of main buddhas in Digong. Among them, the natural reclining Buddha is a whole piece of natural jade with delicate texture. According to the description of local jade workers in Myanmar, it is rare that such a giant Buddha can be completely preserved and carved, which can be called a treasure of the world and a miracle of the world. Jade Buddha Temple is divided into mountain gate, Tianwang Hall, Qibao Buddha Hall, Thousand Buddhas Lying Hall and Zen Hall. On both sides of the main line of the Buddhist Scripture Building are the Bell and Drum Tower, Manjusri, Pu Xian, Guanyin and the Tibetan Bodhisattva Hall. There is an artificial lake in the temple, and Luohan Mountain is piled up by the lake. There is an 88-meter-high Luohan Pagoda at the top of the mountain, which contains thousands of jade buddhas. There is 18 Luohan Cave here. It is also planned to build a Buddhist college with antique buildings in order to train Sangha talents in the new period in the future. In the architectural planning of Qianzun Jade Buddha Temple Scenic Area, two parks and one hospital (ecological park, plantation and nursing home) will be built. An artificial lake will be built in the ecological park, with an island in the middle. The Guanyin Garden will be built on the island for large-scale Guanyin floating on the sea and the ancient philosophers to worship Guanyin array. Pavilions and pavilions, cloisters and bridges, Brahma can't stop singing. At the mountainside, a "past cave" was built to house the ashes of the dead and the dead, and it was sung and smoked. Plantation inherits Zen farmers, inherits clan style, participates in Zen and cultivates wisdom, and nurtures the heart and protects the Tao. The nursing home is a garden-style building with lecture hall, vegetarian hall, living room and vegetarian room.

At present, the moat around the Jade Buddha Temple has been built, and six meters wide roads and four meters wide green belts have been built along the river. The main project of the Tenth Hall has been completed, and the Jade Buddha has been invited into the Hall. After the completion of the Thousand Jade Buddha Temple scenic spot project, it is magnificent, simple and elegant, with harmonious ecology, elegant culture and attractive national and folk colors. Therefore, it is bound to become a key temple in Tianjin and surrounding provinces and cities and even the whole country, and a Buddhist tourist attraction for Buddhists and tourists at home and abroad to attend classes and travel. At the same time, it will also promote the new development of Dangcheng village economy.

The project plans to complete the civil works of 10 main halls at the end of this year, and paint and describe them at the same time, and all of them will be open to tourists on May 1 day next year.
