Folk worship of animals is mainly reflected in the worship of "five masters", which is a worship of demon fairy and also comes from animism. The Five Immortals, also known as "Five Immortals", include Fox Immortals (foxes), Huang Xian (weasels), White Immortals (hedgehogs), Liu Immortals (snakes) and Grey Immortals (mice), commonly known as "fox yellow, white and willow gray" (or "grey yellow fox"). It is generally believed that the five great masters have been in contact with human beings for a long time, and they belong to supernatural gods. If it is violated and destroyed, we can retaliate against human beings with witchcraft and punish human beings with different degrees of disasters. If people worship them, they will be blessed. So many folk families are worshipped by five people. The images of the five people are all portraits and kind-hearted. Except for Bai Xian, who was labeled as an old lady, the other four were male figures, wearing official uniforms and warm hats, all of which were gray-blue or stone-blue. Bai Xian is very beautiful in a skirt and a gown with a crest. Another way of offering sacrifices is to build a "Xianjialou" in the corner of the courtyard to worship five memorial tablets. Xianjialou is a wooden temple model more than 3 feet wide and 2 feet high. The workmanship is similar to that of a real temple, with ridges and overflow corridors. There are four doors ahead. The memorial tablets of five masters are provided, and the offerings are also placed in Xianjialou. People make a wooden pallet downstairs, which is about half a foot high. A round hole is dug at the joint between the upper part of the tray and Xianjialou, and a round hole is also dug at the side of the tray, which is convenient for five people to enjoy the offerings and enter and leave.

In the worship of the five great masters, the people are even more in awe of Fox Fairy, Huang Xian and Bai Xian. There are many legends about their spiritual traces, and they are attached to the great grandfather Hu San, the uncle and the old lady Bai.
