Where is Mud City?

Baidu map shows that Mud Town is located in Pudong New Area, about 20km southeast of huinan town in Nanhui District, with a total area of 6 1.5 km2, bordering Luchaogang Town and Donghai Farm in the east, Hangzhou Bay and Luchaogang Farm in the south, Peng Zhen Town in the west and Shuyuan Town and Vientiane Town in the north.

Nizhen is formed by long-term alluvial sediment carried by the Yangtze River and Qiantang River. The reclamation time was about 170 years ago. In order to prevent the tide from invading, mud dikes in four directions like cities were built during reclamation, hence the name "Mud Town". Nizhen is located in the southern edge of the subtropical zone in the northern hemisphere, which belongs to the area where the East Asian monsoon prevails. Due to the alternation of cold and warm air, the four seasons are distinct: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Spring is warm and rainy, summer is hot and humid, autumn is wet first and then dry, and winter is cold and dry.
