Dong Haichuan died in the winter of the eighth year of Guangxu reign (1882). Originally buried next to Xiaoniufang Village outside Dongzhimen, Beijing, 1980 was moved to Wan 'an Cemetery in the west of Beijing. There are several inscriptions around the tomb, and later generations have compiled many legendary stories advocating Dong Haichuan's martial arts, among which the martial arts novel The Warrior of Yongzheng has the most extensive influence. It's true that there is a road in heaven, but if you don't go, there is no road in hell, so you break in. Mingkui thinks that this bandit leader really overreaches himself and dares to challenge him at home. "I'd like to meet this nine chief and see what kind of person he is." Mingkui is a bold artist and went to the appointment alone. To Mingkui's surprise, Hu Jiukui was very polite to him. After meeting and saluting, he said respectfully, "I admire Mr. Long Wen's bravery." Jiukui told Mingkui that being a robber was also forced by life. "I know what we have done is disgraceful, but with so many brothers following me, I can't ignore them and watch them have no food. Well, I really have no other way. Please find a way out for us ... "

Mingkui sighed deeply. He knows that it is difficult to survive in bad years. Knowing that he couldn't help these robbers, he couldn't put them on the right path, so he politely declined Jiukui's dinner and left for home. From then on, Mingkui was often invited by people from far and near to help fight bandits, but Mingkui could not avoid it from now on.

The bully colluded with the government, and it is said that Dong Haichuan was arrested and imprisoned. That night, Dong Haichuan shook his arms, broke free from shackles and escaped from prison. In order to avoid the wind, he came to Dong's home in Zhangjiakou outside the Great Wall.

As for Sima Qian's execution by castration, the world knows it. What is the intention of the epitaph writer in this particular case?

It is worth mentioning that an inscription carved on a stone in the shadow of 1883 epitaph has been rarely mentioned today, and historians have not paid much attention to it. The article describes: "I don't know if I don't sweep away the smoke and dust when I joined the army." If you want to join the army in the prime of life, before you became a eunuch in middle age, you have different views on Dong Haichuan's "joining the army in the prime of life", and because of the long time, there is no textual research today. 1In the martial arts written by Mr. Qiu in 928, the account of Dong Hou's breaking the law and discipline, being punished by corruption and being abolished as an official is quite consistent with the above statement, and it is also quite consistent with the rumor that Dong somehow killed people, which seems to be more credible. In his later years, he spread boxing among the people and became famous.

Around the 30th year of Qing Daoguang (1850), Dong Haichuan came to Beijing for some reason and joined Sifu as a policeman. Because he was "as evil as hatred and showed heroism, his colleagues immediately became suspicious and changed to the official residence." From then on, Dong Gong's martial arts gradually became known, ranking first in the Wulin. He adopted the method of changing the palm according to the circle, created the prototype of the eight diagrams palm, and began to teach his disciples. In the 13th year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (18 74), there were only 56 disciples recorded in the epitaph, and Dong Haichuan's reputation spread far and wide. Xu Yusheng (1878- 1945), the first volume of Beiping Sports Monthly, five issues of "In memory of Dong Wushi", wrote: "Dong Haichuan died at the age of 66". Today, Mr. Kang of China Wushu Research Institute presented the materials provided by Dong Shaoqin, the hometown of the literati, in the article "The Origin of Eight Diagrams Palm": Dong Haichuan is forty years older than Dong Shushan, and Shushan was born in 1853, so Haichuan should have been born in 18 13, which is the eighteenth year of Qing Jiaqing.

However, the descendants of the Dongshi family have different views. According to Dong Shaoting, uncle of Dong Xuexian in Zhujiawu Village, 1990, Dong Mingkui is sixty years older than my father Dong Shushan, and my father is fifty-six years older than me. I am seventy-seven, born in 19 13, and my father Dong Shushan was born in 1857. According to the father's birth year, push forward 60 years.

In addition, there are scattered opinions among the people, who were born in the first year of Jiaqing, the sixth year of Jiaqing and the ninth year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty. It can be seen that in the late Qing Dynasty, Zeng Zengqi, an early disciple of Yin Fu, was originally named Jin Yuhui (1862- 195 1) in the book "Eight Diagrams Turn to Palm". It can be inferred that if Dong Haichuan was born in the second year of Qing Jiaqing (1797), he would have been 68 years old when he came to the northern capital in 1865. Considering the normal physiology of people, people have retired at the age of 60. Under the social background at that time, the possibility of entering the government at such an age is doubtful.

According to the late Mr. Li's "Anecdotes of Teacher Dong Haichuan", when Master Yin came from Dong Haichuan, he said, "At that time, the teacher was over 50 years old and sat cross-legged on the kang". Yin Xisheng, the great-grandson of Yin Fu, confirmed today that according to my aunt (Yin Jinyu, Yin Fu's daughter), my great-grandfather was 20 years old and took Dong Haichuan as his teacher. At that time, Dong Gongzheng sat cross-legged on the kang.

Yin Gang was born in the 20th year of Qing Daoguang (1840) and was around 1860 at the age of 20. If Dong Haichuan was really born in 17 97, Dong should be 63 years old, not over 50 years old. ..... This tomb was destroyed in the Cultural Revolution. At the initiative of Li, a disciple of Bagua Palm, Qi Xin, a disciple of Bagua Palm, moved the tomb to Beijing Wan 'an Cemetery on 198 1 and erected a monument for it. In 2006, Jia Shusen, then president of the 4th Beijing Baguazhang Research Association, and others proposed that a statue of Dong Zushi be placed in Jiexin Park (formerly Xiaoniufang Village outside Dongzhimen, Donghai Chuan Cemetery) in Li Nan, Liu Fang on the eve of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
