Which is better, Xi 'an or Taiyuan?

Hehe, I'm from Taiyuan, but I study in Xi 'an. This question is difficult to talk about. Taiyuan and Xi 'an are both northern cities, and the environment is not good, almost the same. I think Xi is better off. When outsiders talk about Taiyuan, they all feel dirty. They can only say that Taiyuan was dirty more than ten years ago, but it is much better now. I don't know. I live there every day.

As for urban development, I think Xi is similar to Taiyuan, and both have developed well. However, because Xi is located in the west, it is naturally more concerned by the state. Now the country has also begun to vigorously develop the central region, and the two places should be almost the same.

In addition, in terms of urban planning, Xi 'an is famous for its ancient city, and many buildings are antique buildings, but I don't think so. Just go and see Pingyao, which is called the ancient city. Taiyuan also has a history of more than 2500 years, and the planning of Taiyuan is also very good. The east-west direction is called street north and south, and the planning is good, and the Fenhe River passes through Taiyuan, which feels very good. Xi 'an does have many scenic spots. After all, there are terracotta warriors and horses there, but Taiyuan is rare.

This is my personal opinion. After all, I am from Taiyuan and have lived here for more than 20 years. If I have to choose, the overall feeling is better than Taiyuan.
