Where is Cao Cao's tomb?

Cao Cao's Tomb, namely Anyang Gaoling, is located in Xigaoxue Village, Anfeng Township, Anyang City, Henan Province, at12km west of Ye Bei, the capital of Cao Cao. According to the Records of the Three Kingdoms, Cao Cao died in Luoyang in 220, and the coffin was buried on the hill west of Ximen Bao Temple in Yecheng.

On February 27th, 2009, at 65438, National Cultural Heritage Administration finally confirmed Cao Cao as the owner of the high tomb, which is located in the south of Xigaoxue Village, Anfeng Township, Anyang City, Henan Province. On June 20 101day, Cao Cao Gaoling in Anyang was selected as the first of the "Top Ten New Archaeological Discoveries in China in 2009".

May 20 13, Cao Cao Gaoling became the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units. June 20 13, Cao Cao Gaoling and Yecheng sites were selected into the Twelfth Five-Year Special Plan for the Protection of Great Sites approved by National Cultural Heritage Administration and the Ministry of Finance. National Cultural Heritage Administration said that "the archaeological excavation, academic appraisal and publication of research results of Cao Cao Gaoling conform to the rules of archaeological work".

On March 20 18, Henan Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology released the archaeological discovery of Cao Cao Gaoling on March 20 16-20 17, and Cao Cao's remains were basically confirmed.
