Brief introduction of Shenyang Jingji

Ji 'angji is located at Ji 'angji Lane 12, Da 'nan Street, Shenhe District. Founded in the second year of Tiancong (1628), it was expanded and rebuilt during the Qing Shunzhi, Daoguang and the Republic of China. It is the largest existing Buddhist temple in Shenyang. The temple sits west and faces east, covering an area of about 12000 square meters. There is a mountain gate in front and a bell and drum on the second floor. To the west, the temple buildings are divided into three roads. In front of the middle road is the Temple of the King of Heaven, three rooms wide, with purlins painted and scarlet buckets. There are statues of the four heavenly kings, Maitreya Buddha and Wei Tuo in the temple. In the west, there are the Hall of Great Heroes, the Temple of Biqiu and the Tibetan Scripture Building in turn.
